10 Years Since Paris: Celebrating UK Climate Leadership - COP30 reception
December 2025 marks the ten year anniversary of the Paris Climate Agreement. In the intervening decade, the world has made considerable progress in tackling global emissions, with nations' individual pledges and multilateral action helping to substantially reduce forecast temperature rises this century.
To commemorate the anniversary of this landmark agreement, and ahead of this year's COP 30 climate negotiations in Brazil, we are pleased to invite you to this exclusive reception, bringing together parliamentarians, peers, climate experts, and some of the UK's leading climate and environment organizations.
This event is an opportunity to reflect on the progress that's been made since Paris, the necessity of a cross-party consensus on the climate, and the continuing importance of the UK's climate leadership on the world stage.
This event is sponsored by Pippa Heylings MP and jointly organised by the Energy & Climate Intelligence Unit, the Environment APPG, the Climate APPG, Labour Climate & Environment Forum, Conservative Environment Network, Liberals and Democrats for Nature and Climate, and Peers for the Planet.
Attendance is open parliamentary and associate members of the Environment APPG. Associate members will have recieved an invite via email - please contact appg@green-alliance.org.uk if you have any queries.
