Environment APPG and Adaptation Task Force launch publications in Parliament following AGM
Parliamentary supporters, associate members and members of the Adaptation Task Force gathered in Parliament for the launch of the Environment APPG's climate resilience report and the Adaptation Task Force essay collection, both focused on strengthening the UK's resilience to climate change. The publications bring together recommendations and perspectives on how the UK can better prepare for future climate impacts. Speakers discussed the growing risks posed by extreme heat, flooding and pressures on infrastructure, and highlighted the need for stronger cross-government leadership and investment in resilience.
The All-Party Parliamentary Group for the Environment is the oldest and largest cross-party parliamentary group focused on environmental issues.
